Moilan Mena's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Moilan Mena, 62, a cherished resident of Cape Coral, FL since the late 1980s and formerly of Cuba. Moilan passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Moilan was born on May 17, 1962, in Cuba. He was a very loving and playful person, known for his sense of humor and love of joking around. His close bond with his brother and family was something he held dear throughout his life.
Moilan enjoyed simple pleasures, like playing the lotto and spending time at the beach. He was also an extremely hard worker, dedicated to providing for his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Moilan Mena.
Moilan is survived by his wife, Maria Cruz de Mena of Cape Coral, FL; his daughter, Janessa Maria Cruz and her fiancé, Shawn Kelly; his mother, Reina; five siblings, Roberto Mena (Jannett Maria Chirino), Noel Mena (Natasha), Ivan Mena, Iris Mena (Jorge) and Yamile Santos (Yoarsi); two nephews, Christian R. Mena and Robert Mena, Jr; one niece, Naivy Mena; as well as one grandson on the way.
His loving nature, playful spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and work will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Moilan. You will be forever in our hearts.
