Bonnie and Family,My memory focuses on the many gifts that Montie shared with so many people, but particularly his gift to the churches here in Wisconsin. I recall at least two crosses that Montie built and hung in the Jefferson United Methodist Church and the Milton United Methodist Church. Montie was a very devoted disciple of Jesus. He walked hand in hand with the strength he found in his Savior that sustained him in the health issues that he had to face and live with in his journey later in life. May God bless each of you. Cherish his memorial in your life journey. May comfort, hope and the love of God be given to you as you plan the return to Milton for the Memorial Service. With peace and love, Pastor Jim.

Hello Bonnie and Family, Sending you warm thoughts, deepest sympathy and prayers for you, the boys and family. It has been at least 25 years since I have seen you two…I enjoyed knowing Monte and needless to say working with you at the JC Bank. I remember Monte walking into the bank with the slow walk he had. Dear Bonnie and family,So many memories come back to me with you and Montie. From the first time I was introduced to you and your young family(Scott and Bret). I will never forget all the time Montie spent at our "little house" to help make it suitable for living.–seems like a 100 yrs. ago. and you would come out with snacks for him to keep his blood sugar in line. Wow! So much has transpired since then. Remember all of the "good times" we had together over the years either in Dixon, Florida or Wis! Those are "treasured memories" now!
