Morris was a much loved Tourism Ambassador with the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau for many, many years before he retired. We'll never forget his sense of humor and how much he loved cookies! I first met Morris when he and Gertrude came to volunteer at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, close to 20 years ago. I can't think of Morris without Gertrude. They were a team and we all quickly became friends. Morris would share his love of his family, his pride in their accomplishments (especially the grandkids), and the lessons he learned in life. He was a good man. Rest in peace.
Morris and Gertrude have been dedicated members of the NARFE South Lee County Chapter #1263 for numerous years, and not only supported our activities, but also helped in many was to help keep the chapter active. Morris was a life member of NARFE National and a Distinguished Member of our chapter. His smiling face will be missed at our meetings. Our condolences to Gertrude and all the family. One of the sweetest gentleman I've ever met, always smiling, every time he & Gertrude left our office. They both always blew a kiss to me. So Glad I had the pleasure of being at his birthday party.
