Morton L. Phillips Jr.'s Obituary
Morton L. Phillips Jr., of Bonita Springs passed peacefully at the age of 75 on April 21, 2023. Junior was born July 16, 1947, to Morton and Catherine (Sala) Phillips in Brooklyn, New York.
Junior has called Florida his home for 22 years. Before his life in Florida, he was a part of the Knights of Colombus and a long-time meat broker. Juniors and his beloved wife Marie Phillips have dedicated 9 years to the Springs of Bonita Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandkids, and cruising to many beautiful countries like Puerto Rico, Rome, and Hawaii.
Junior is preceded in passing by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie of 54 years, children Timothy, Tanya, and John (Patricia), grandchildren Derek, Gabby, Tyler, Joanne, Genesis, Dominick, Devin, Gianni, Anthony, and DJ, great grandchildren Ezra, Easton, Elise, Derek, Sawyer, Quincy Jr., Qu’Cyrus, Safiyah, and a 9th great grandchild expected in September.
Juniors' family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the care of his final arrangements. The family has chosen to have a private memorial in his honor.
