I have been blessed with the likes of one, Mr. Mounir Jabriel Yosuf Mohammed MahGoob Hanafi, whose playful interludes of existentialism, wisdom, daring recklessness, and spiritual wizardry, has left me with a refreshing taste of endearment, pride, and honor in knowing him. I have been blessed with the power of intimacy, and I have been taken to the threshold of life's passions, and now with a greater sense of profoundness in the course of life's chilling awkwardness, I accept the unknown for what it is, and am satisfied that my friend Mounir and I have explored all avenues of life's most desired source, the source of love itself.Ã?â??Ã? Mounir was a fine fellow who loved the pursuit of putting people in touch with their higher call in life in an effort to expound upon his own. He relished the idea that we are all santient beings who are far greater than we know ourselves to be. I was blessed to know him for 28 wonderful years. He was my best friend and his adoration and love will be deeply missed. Go, my friend, in reconciliation and in wellbeing, go freely and without fear. Swirl into "a thousand synchronistic sunsets," and meet the dawning of the first sunrise in a new lifetime. Whirl into a dervish's flight of glory. Soar beyond the scope of limitless light to the formless bounty of godhood and perfection. My Sufi mascot, my poet mentor, my friend – go and find freedom and wholeness beyond the thin veil of life. I love you; I will always love you.Ã?â??Ã? Go with my Blessings in Peace, till we meet again, venture forth with the ecstatic kisses of the Star Goddess..
