Nancy Carmel Caggiano's Obituary
Nancy Carmel Caggiano, 71, a Ft. Myers resident since 1993, formerly of South Ozone Park, NY passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born July 16, 1946 in New York City, NY to Rocco and Providence Gaudioso, now deceased.Nancy was a retired butchers apprentice and moved to Fort Myers to peruse her love for the beach, fishing, boating and swimming. She enjoyed dogs and taking them to dog parks to meet fellow dog lovers. She loved to have a good time with her friends, family and loved ones. Nancy loved to teach her grandchildren different card games, but most of all loved challenging her children to a good spade game. Her great grandchildren were the light in her life that kept her going. Her best days were when they came to visit and brighten her spirit. She embraced others with a love as if they were always in her life. She was able to joke and brighten a new friend’s life within minutes. Her strong spirit and will kept her alive in her battle through declining health. She faced challenges head on and was victorious through many. She had her own voice and was never afraid to voice it. The word “No”was never an accepted answer for her because she always found a way to be victorious in her health battles. Her family will miss her enormously but will always keep her spirit with them in their hearts. She is survived by her four loving children, Rocco Caggiano of New York, Pamela Caggiano Jenkins (Ron Colson) of Florida, Gary Caggiano (Nordia) of New York and Florida and Jeffrey Caggiano (Cynthia) of New York; 13 grandchildren, Shana(Antonio), Todd, Jr. “TJ”, Kareema, Jovan, Alex, Christian, Ciara, Gary, Jr., Gracie, Delroy, Daniesha, Almira and Tahj; four great grandchildren, Jaliel, Ariella, Alana’ski and Antonia; two nieces, Patricia Gaudioso of Florida and Erika Gaudioso of Florida; as well as two nephews, Mark Gaudioso of Florida and Anthony Gaudioso of Florida.A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Ft.
