Nancy Christianna's Obituary
Nancy Christianna, born on September 22, 1929, passed away on July 19, 2020. She is survived by Sam, her loving husband of 73 years, and by her niece and nephews, Debbie and Mike and Jamie Lucente. Nancy will be terribly missed by her family. She was the central hub of the Lucente family, the place where we all gathered for holidays, birthdays and celebrations. For Nancy family was the priority and she made that known to all of us throughout her life. She was always there for us, and we became the adults we are today in large part due to Nancy’s influence and guidance.
Nancy and Sam moved to Florida from Saugerties, NY in 1960 and never looked back. They loved their life here. Nancy was deeply involved in the Palm Island community, doing crafts for the clubhouse, making decorations, arranging garage sales, serving on the HOA, helping to organize dinners and events, and making food, especially her family-favorite pies. She loved her community, and her friends and neighbors loved her back.
Her memorial service will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Ft Myers, Florida. Attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines.
