Nancy Helen Cox's Obituary
Nancy Helen Cox, 84, originally from Roselle, N.J., passed away from Glioblastoma on February 19, at Hope Hospice.
She was a long time resident of Ft. Myers, Florida. During her life, she worked along side her husband Ron to build a successful dewatering company. Nancy was a supportive and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a generous friend who gave time and resources to help enrich the lives of those she knew and loved. Nancy was an avid animal lover who supported various animal welfare agencies. She adopted and fostered many dogs from the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Nancy was also an accomplished bowler and played on several leagues throughout her life. She was a devoted Northwestern University Wildcats and a Miami Dolphins football fan.
Our family would like to thank Hope Hospice, especially Nely and Mimi who took wonderful care of our mother.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband Ron of 62 years. She is survived by her son, Ron Jr. (Linda), her daughter, Renee Lane (Rich), grandchildren, Ross (Kendall), Alison, Sara and two great grandchildren, Ryan and Sydney.
Nancy’s family will hold a celebration of life to honor her on February 25 at her daughter’s home. Interment and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Gulf Coast Humane Society or Hope Hospice.
