Nancy Keenan, age 76, peacefully passed away on March 23, 2019The Heavens above called for you loveSo gently and sheer, that only you could hearAlthough your wings were ready, the hearts of many were left unsteadyYou were gone without comply, and only God knows whyWhen Nancy was not spending time with her beloved family or traveling, she was volunteering her spare time at places such as Ronald McDonald’s House, animal shelters and making blankets for the Golisano Children’s Hospital. She had a smile that could light up a room and illuminated the world with her heartSurvived by her beloved husband, Jack KeenanHer son John Keenan and granddaughter AmandaSurvived by her sisters Donna Lingenfelter and Lorraine Himes, and her brother Bernard SpranklePredeceased by her sisters, Audrey Bantin and Jackie ThompsonImmediate funeral services are private. Arrangements for Nancy’s final care has been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Memorial and Celebration of Nancy’s Life is being planned by the family.
