Nancy L. Rhodes' Obituary
Nancy Lee Rhodes, 73, of Fort Myers, Fl sadly passed away Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born on November 10, 1950, in Dalton, GA to Joseph William “Bill” Weeks and Beatrice Sutton. She was a wonderful wife, mother, granny and great grandmother who was always there when we needed her. She is survived by her husband, James Malcolm Rhodes, to whom she was married to for fifty-four years; children, Thad (Toni) Rhodes, Stephanie (Eric) Lewis, April (Marcus) Ide; grandchildren, Payton Rhodes, Destiny Lewis, Trent Lewis, Colton Ide and Landon Ide; great grandchild; Carter Rhodes; brother, Joseph Mike (Christine) Weeks. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elizabeth Kelley.
After a little over twenty years in the medical field as an office manager, Granny retired to enjoy providing daycare for her grandchildren. She loved to go camping and fishing with family and friends. She was Granny to many more kids other than her own grandchildren. As time went on and the grandchildren grew up you could find her at whatever sporting event the grandkids had that day. She loved being around her family.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Nancy Lee Rhodes will be held on March 2, 2024, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Florida. The visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm and the service will begin at 2:00pm. Granny will forever be in our hearts!
