Khalil, Nargues Saleh's Obituary
Nargues Saleh Khalil passed peacefully November 13th in Fort Myers, FL. She was 72 years old. As a young woman growing up in Cairo, Egypt, she excelled in school and loved people.
She came to personally trust her savior Jesus in high school, and kept a strong faith and obedience in him all the days of her life. She attended medical school at Cairo University and later married her husband of 45 years while practicing as a physician. Courageously moving to the United States in 1989, she continued a life of sacrifice and service. She cared for her children, spouse, those in her church, and anyone needing support, faithful in times of hardship or illness. She earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and the South Carolina Mother of the Year award, but her greatest accomplishment was in the relationships she cherished all over the globe.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Nabil Khalil, son Dr. Sherief Khalil (Ms. Amber Khalil), daughter Mary Khalil (Dr. Ashraf Eldabh), four grandchildren (Noah, Clara, Sophia, and Nora) in Florida and brothers Nabil Khalil (Mona), her twin Nazmy (Kathy), Nader (Tara), Nashaat (Samia), and Nagy (Jaqculine),and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in heaven by parents Saleh and Fahima Khalil, sister Nadia Khalil, and grandson Adam Eldabh.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 PM, Sunday, November 17, 2024 at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 19800 Allaire Lane, Ft Myers, FL. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
