Nathalie Bradshaw Childress' Obituary
Nathalie Bradshaw Childress, 44, passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers. She was born March 5, 1972 in Bethlehem, South Africa and moved to Southwest Florida in 1995.A graduate of the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, Nathalie earned a B.S. in occupational therapy. In 2009, she founded Compassion Rehabilitation in Fort Myers, providing driving evaluations and driving lessons to elderly and disabled residents. Beyond her business, she was also dedicated to her family, friends and helping others.Despite her many achievements, Nathalie considered raising her three children to be her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her 14-year-old triplets, Isabella, Connor and Matthew Childress of Fort Myers; brothers, Greg and Glen (Wanda) Bradshaw both of South Africa; and countless friends and acquaintances. She was predeceased by her parents, Ian and Zandra Bradshaw of South Africa.Nathalie’s sweet spirit was both boundless and infectious, captivating everyone she met. She embraced people from all walks of life, forging enduring friendships quickly and easily. The world was made a better place for her relatively brief, but elegant, presence in it. A celebration of Nathalie’s life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33901 with a reception to follow in Fellowship Hall. Per her wish, Nathalie’s ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico and South Africa at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gulf Coast Humane Society www.gulfcoasthumanesociety.org or to the PACE Center for Girls-Lee County www.pace-center.org
