Nellie Jane Tuscan's Obituary
Nellie Jane Tuscan, 90, was called home on September 13th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo M. Tuscan; and her sister Diane Robinson. She is survived by her sister Janet Stoner; and brother Harley R. Wolf (Paulette); and 4 children, Jeffrey Tuscan (Becky), Christopher Tuscan, Mark Tuscan and Lisa Grinstead (John). She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Jessica Chard, Megan Tuscan, Lauren Tuscan, Zoe McColgan, and Zane Cooper; and with 4 great grandchildren, Jaxson Fike, Presley Chard, and Reid and Cooper McColgan.
Nellie was a devout wife, mother, and Catholic and is now reunited with her love, Leo. She was a loving mother who cared deeply about her family. She was born in Ohio and raised her family there until they moved to Cape Coral in 1968. She managed the family accounting practice started by her husband until 4 years ago. She loved cats and befriended 3 after moving into a rental home after Hurricane Ian damaged her home. She enjoyed her cooking shows and sitting outside in the morning and evening.
Nellie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers, FL 33907. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday September 20, 2024 at 3:00PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 5632 Sunrise Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33919 with burial to follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter for cat care in Nellie's memory.
