Nestor Gil Hernandez's Obituary
Nestor Gil Hernandez, 81, passed away on Wednesday November 27th, 2024. He had been a resident of Florida since 1997. He was a proud US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
After serving his country, Nestor worked for NYC Transit working his way up to become the Safety Training Manager. In his free time he loved working on and building cars, and boating through the Southwest Florida waters with Sheila often saying he was in "paradise"
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Sheila; son Gil (Amy); daughter Tammie (Jason); step children Robin Briskin and Mitchell Weishar (Monica); 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 4th, 2024 at 12NOON at Fort Myers Memorial gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers, Florida 33907 with placement in the cemetery to follow.
