Nestor Anthony Karlis' Obituary
Nestor Karlis, age 85, of Fort Myers, FL passed away October 1st, 2020.
Nestor was born December 17, 1934 in Jersey City, N.J. He earned his B.S. at Fairleigh Dickinson University and his M.S. at Stevens Institute of Technology. Nestor served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957.
He married his high school sweetheart Karen and moved the family from N.J. to Illinois, Salt Lake City, and Texas for his career.
Nestor is survived by his wife Karen; two sons, Craig and Scott; and five grandchildren, Nicole, Scott Jr., Kelly, Max, and Michael; his brother George; and his sister Mary.
Nestor and Karen travelled to many places, but the best visits were with family and spending time with the grandchildren.
A memorial service for Nestor will be held at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Organization.
