Nicholas Giambattista, 96, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on May 30, 2011.?á Mr. Giambattista was born March 15, 1915 in Italy, a son of the late Serafino and Vincenza Torchetti Giambattista.?á He was a retired from the tire and rubber industry?áwhere he was employed in the shipping and receiving?ádept.?á A veteran of WW2 Nicholas served honorably with the U.S. Army mostly in Europe.?á He was a member of the Knight?ÇÖs of Columbus, past president of the Ushers Club and the Holy Name Society.?á He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Manuse.?á He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pearl Giambattista; his son, Kenneth (Diane) Giambattista of Las Vegas, NV;?á 3 grandchildren, Christina, Nicholas and Kenneth, Jr.; siblings, Cecilia Alati and Serafin?á Giambattista both of Niagara, Falls, NY and William Giambattista of Las Vegas, NV; Services were held June 4, 2011.?áThe family is being assisted by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
