Nicholas Sambrato's Obituary
Nicholas “The Rock” Sambrato, has peacefully left this Earth on October 15, 2017. He was welcomed into heaven by his beloved sons Nicholas and Joseph Sambrato alongside Armando Sambrato his father. He was a fiercely loyal friend, father, and son. In his amazing 73 years on Earth he not only left a lasting impression on his family but also his lifelong love of pigeon racing. His knowledge and wisdom will always be remembered by all, and his uncompromising belief of being Italian-American will keep living with us. Not just in his final days, but also, throughout his life not only was he was surrounded by immense love and respect, but he also gave it. As life will continue with his presence everywhere you see a pigeon or bird he will be lived through; his mother (Antoinette Sambrato), siblings (Anthony Sambrato) (Kathy Sambrato Castagna), children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He has always been and will remain a legend. His overwhelming strength and willpower to live life HIS way should be a constant reminder that we will never be without him. “The future is not the past. Thank GOD the past is not the future.” A time of gathering will be held on October 18th from 6 pm – 8 pm and October 19th from 2 pm – 4 pm & 6 pm – 8 pm at Fort Myers Memorial Garden Chapel of Memories, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. He will be laid to rest Friday October 20th following his mass at 11 am at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.Condolences may be left to Nicholas’s family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
