Nick Rehrig's Obituary
Neil “Nick” Rehrig, 72, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born June 3, 1942 in Bowmanstown, PA to the late Russell and Arlene (Easterday) Rehrig. He grew up in Bowmanstown where he worked for Prince Manufacturing. He was then transferred to Quincy, IL and moved to Cape Coral in 1983. For 35 years, Nick worked in the turf industry laying sports fields. He laid fields globally and in all 50 states. He was also an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Nick leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Troy and his wife, Lindy of Quincy, IL and Tor and his wife, Cory of Austin, TX; his grandchildren: Tara, Brandon, Chase, Brittney, Blake, Devyn and Tristen; his great grandchildren: Connor and Braeden; his sister, Cheryl Rehrig; his half-sisters: Kim and Charla Dieter; his half-brother, Gary Dieter and his significant other of ten years, Carla Ferrel of Cape Coral. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Humphries.
