Nina M. Duncan's Obituary
In Honor and Celebration of a Life well lived.Nina Marie Duncan, 82, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Nina was born April 18, 1929 in Bristol, PA and moved to Fort Myers, FL in 1973. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and retired from the Royal Palm Yacht Club following 21 years of service. She spent many fulfilling devoted years to her family and loved ones. She enjoyed sewing, reading, drawing, going to the library, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends. Nina was a genuine, authentic, resilient, humble,frank, strong woman with a generous and honest spirit; we will truly miss her presence.Nina leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Gary Duncan (Sue) of South Korea, Marie Hall, David Duncan and Debbie Jordan all of Fort Myers; her brother Jim and sister Janet; her grandchildren; Lena (Chris), Akesha, Stacey, Christina, Brandon (Danielle), Bryan, Serenity, Ashley, Trinity, Miranda, Jennifer and Kurtlyn; her great grandchildren: Kaymen, Ke’ana, Tra’von, Jay’da, Jazzmyn, Tyler, Tye’son, Ja’nessa, Amarion, Skiela, Jeremiah, Akeem and Carter; and her great-great grandchild Adrianna.?á She was preceded into Heaven by her loving father, Rocco Genco,mother, Rose Genco, and beloved son, Michael Duncan.Throughout her life she became and served as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother “nana” to others but especially dear and adored Micheal & Micheal, Austin, Terrance, Bregneve and Kelly.
