I am so sorry to hear of Noble Jays passing. I didn't realize your were in Ft. Myers,I was thinking Naples. I was in Cape Coral for 2 months visiting Randy and Lynn Painter. Randy is my nephew (Wilbur's son) and they have lived there several years.

I will definitely miss Great Uncle Noble J, he was a kind man who loved life & kept busy. He definitely resembles my grandma (Mary Ann) very well, now he is heaven with her & others who have passed on. He will definitely be missed by all who loved him very much. Keeping the family in my prayers, Noble J you will never be forgotten.

Noble J. was a friend, and good, loyal gas and oil customer of my Dad, Nelson, for over 30 years. He was also my customer for a few years, when I took over the route from my Dad. Such a good Christian man, a fine farmer, and hard worker. I think of him every time I drive by the home place, or, if I'm headed to Kenton, the farm on Rte 67... you couldn't meet a nicer man. May he rest in peace. Prayers for comfort sent up for Nancy, Kevin, and Nanette and her family.

I remember when I was a young and in business as D.J. Moore Excavating, believing and knowing Noble Jay was “bigger than life!” He was farming and you were raising Nanette and Kevin. I remember when you built the clay tennis court on the farm! What a great time y’all had!
And, oh the family reunions and your reunions as “Cleo’s kids!” Remember those great times!
