Norlina Pasao Simmons, 70, of Cape Coral, FL, died February 26, 2015 at Cape Coral Hospital. Norlina was born October 18, 1944, in Cavite, Philippines, the daughter of Leonor and Magdalena (Manzano) Pasao. She leaves behind her husband Kenneth; children Joseph Christopher Simmons of Queens, NY; Leonor “Lori” Simmons Holland and her husband Douglas of Cortland, OH; siblings Lilia Maranan of Cavite, Philippines, Bienvenido Pasao of Cavite, Philippines, Concepcion Tarrazona of Mandaluyong, Philippines, Corazon Chomchinda of Bangkok, Thailand, Teresita Taleon of Tagaytay, Philippines; grandchildren Bouldin Kenneth Holland and Paige Taylor Holland. Norlina was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Myrna; and brother, Noel. She was an administrative analyst with the State of Florida, Department of Health and had served with the State of Florida for 29 ?? years. She was a member of Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. She served as a volunteer for many different organizations. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20 AV, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Entombment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials: Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20 AV, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
