Norma Silverman's Obituary
Norma Silverman of Fort Myers, Florida passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 following some recent health challenges. She was 81 years old.Norma was born on May 8, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts, the beautiful daughter of Mollie (Lipofsky) and Harry Weinstein. She was an avid supporter of many causes dear to her heart over the years and volunteered with many charities including the Visually Impaired Person’s Center, Florida Rep, Cape Coral Cultural Theatre, Hope Hospice, Tamiami Tale Tellers, Jewish Federation and The Unitarian Congregation on McGregor Boulevard.She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her loving husband Howard; daughters Linda Silverman and Diane Gibson (Mark) and granddaughters Melissa and Jennifer Gibson. She also leaves behind many extended family members and a multitude of friends she touched along life’s journey.Immediate funeral services are private.
