Olga Maxwell's Obituary
Olga Maxwell, 99, of N. Fort Myers, died September 1, 2015 at Calusa Harbour Assisted Living Center. Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept 12, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Memorials have been suggested to Hope Hospice. Olga was born July 22, 1916 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Devornicka) Wawousciak. She married John Wesley Maxwell and he preceded her in death. Olga was a waitress most of her life. During WWII , she stepped forward for the service of her country and worked in a factory as an inspector of aircraft propellers. She was also a co-owner of Davis Ceramics. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in North Fort Myers. She enjoyed playing cards, sports and needle point. Olga leaves behind to help cherish her memory her two children, Beverly Davis and John Maxwell, Jr.; grandchildren, Veronica Donohue, Robert Davis, Jr, Bryan Davis; great grandchildren, Gwen, Megan, Sean, Olga, Robert Davis III, Olivia, Meredith, Wade and Paige.
