Olive Enid Baker, 97, passed away February 15, 2012 in Boynton Beach, Florida.?áShe was born June 7, 1914 in Anaheim, California to the late Lorenzo and Ethel Collins.?áShe came to Lee County in 1963 from Miami and then moved to Palm Beach County in 2006. Olive and her husband Henry were owners of a shoe repair shop in Miami and then on the River in Fort Myers.?á?áShe was the leader of her Ft. Myers Pathfinder Troup (similar to Boy Scouts) for 15 years and traveled across the state promoting and wining numerous awards. She and her husband traveled around the world twice and volunteered at her church community outreach center well into her 90?ÇÖs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Peggy Bower and her husband Bill of Wellington, Florida; a granddaughter, Robin Villemain and her husband Danny; 2 great-grandsons, Cody and Cole Villemain. There will be a visitation on Sunday, February 19th from 10:00 to 11:00am at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áFuneral will begin at 11:00.?áBurial will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
