HI Bea! it is Nov 1. I was thinking of Owen, longing to reach him, and thought i might be able with google. And instead i find this sad news. He was my closest companion at Phi Beta Pi, when i was a snot nosed little kid among the grown up students there. Now– of course, now I'm a snotty old man. Some things never change, silly thing like that; or my memories and love Owen. I will never forget him, nor forgive him for leaving you and me here behind on earth!John

Bea, Kari, Chris and Lynn and Laura,My condolences from the Koskinen family to you.I always enjoyed talking to both Owen and Bea in my teen years and considered both Kari and Chris close friends. The last time I talked with Owen and Bea was as the famous or maybe infamous Side Lake Parade some years ago. It was a beautiful Northern Minnesota 4th of July celebration. It was so nice to see Owen and Bea after quite a few years and we spent a few minutes trying to catch up on all that was going on in our lives.Once our sympathies are with you and I will always remember Owen wearing his bow ties and hoping secretly they never went out of style.Kind regardsPeter W. Beatrice, et al:I was saddened to hear about Owen's passing. He was a good friend, thanks to his marrying another friend and classmate, and I enjoyed the times we met.
