Pamela Jean Pullins' Obituary
Pamela Jean Pullins (Pam/PJ) was a caring, loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She died July 17, 2024 at age 80 with her husband by her side at Shellpoint’s Larsen Health Center in Fort Myers, Florida.
Born to Robert Leon and Winfred June Sanders on November 11, 1943 and siblings Robert, Michael, Patrick and Catherine (Cathy). Pam married her high-school sweetheart, James Pullins on August 28, 1965. Together they had two daughters, Paige and Megan.
She was raised in Urbana, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Masters in Psychology. She had decades long career teaching kids who struggled with learning. Pam loved to teach English as a second language, as well as taught school for many years. She was an avid reader and loved everything about Christmas. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Pam spent many years living and making dear friends in Fayetteville NY, Gettysburg PA and Fort Myers FL. Her wishes were for no funeral or church service. A celebration of life gathering will be announced later for Gettysburg and Ft. Myers for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to Save the Children or Tunnel to Towers Foundation - Homeless Veterans Program (t2t.org) on her behalf.
