Patricia Anne "Pat" Bethel Bowling's Obituary
Patricia Anne “Pat” Bethel Bowling, 84, of Virginia, passed away on a bright sunny day in Fort Myers, Florida. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will remain forever in the hearts of those that loved her.
Pat was born in Lynchburg, Virginia. She graduated from William Fleming High School and earned her nursing degree from Virginia Baptist Hospital. Pat devoted her life to caring for others, serving many years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse before retiring as Head Nurse for an oral surgery practice.
Pat married the love of her life, Dr. Herbert “Chip” Bowling. Together, they shared 69 years built on deep love, devotion, and partnership. She was a woman of deep faith and shared God’s love with others.
Family and friends were the center of Pat’s world. She poured her heart into those she loved, always offering kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Herbert “Chip” Bowling; her children Corrie (Ronnie) and Cris; her grandchildren Zach (Stephanie), Will (Madeline), Amalia (Sean), Kyren, Addie (Jaxon); her great-grandchild, Makayla. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Andrzejewski (Stan).
A Celebration of Life will be held in Virginia later in the year.
