Patricia Louise Dixon's Obituary
Patricia Louise (Green) Dixon, 86, was called home January 8, 2017. Pat was born the 15th child of Edward and Harriet (Downey) Green on November 1, 1930. She was born and raised in Loogotee, Indiana. She graduated from St. John’s Catholic School and then moved to Indianapolis. She met James Dixon before he was shipped out to serve in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. Upon his return, they were married on April 24, 1954. They were the proud parents of Elizabeth (Jim) Brydon, Barbara (Ralph) Saunders, Michael Dixon and Mary Lacy. They were blessed with many grandchildren; Nicole (Kylie) Stithem, Sarah Brydon, Clinton (Candace) Dixon, Nick O’Haver, Megan (Andrew) Bernardez, Rachael (Matt) Cadick, Morgan (Dave) Royer and Patrick Lacy. They had many great-grandchildren including, Madison, Alex, Isabella and Will Reynolds, Spencer Brydon, Lyla and Teagan Dixon, Annie and Helen O’Haver, Sammy and Maria Bernardez, Autumn, Hunter and Oakley Cadick, Josh and Amy Royer, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and playing euchre. She loved the beach. She was a feisty, strong little woman with a quick smile that will be missed by her entire family. Pat’s family is having a private memorial service.
