Patricia Ann Patrizi's Obituary
Patricia Ann (Pombier) Patrizi, of Fort Myers was born in Springport, Michigan, passed away on February 16, 2013 in Fort Myers, FL. Mrs. Patrizi was a daughter of the late Edward Pombier and Irene Pombier Barker. Valedictorian of her high school class,Pat received a Bachelors degree from Illinois State and her Masters from Nova University. During her youth Pat was an accomplished trumpet player and received a scholarship to play in the All State Band at Interlochen Music Camp. Pat was a lifelong educator of elementary school children. Pat spent 12 years as the principal at Orangewood Elementary School where her philosophy was ?Ç£kindness is spoken here?Ç¥. She was a member of St. Cecilia?ÇÖs Catholic Community where she served as an Extraordinary minister. Pat was well known for her vast collection of nativities and her love for the holy family. She loved to travel, dance and her music. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward Pombier. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 57 years, Mario; her children, Lisa Weiland (Andy), Michael Patrizi and Beth Patrizi (Robert Schram); her grandchildren, Jessica Weiland, Kelly Patrizi, Anthony Patrizi, Roberta Perkins, Justin Patrizi and Stephanie Kirkwood. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Cecilia?ÇÖs Catholic Church, 5632 Sunrise Drive in Fort Myers.
