Patricia A. Phelps' Obituary
Patricia A. Phelps, a resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida since 1972, went home to the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019. She was born in Carthage, New York, on March 14, 1942, to the late Armand Lesperance and Mabel (Labarge) Lesperance.Patricia was a devout Catholic, and was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Before retiring on March 31, 2002, she spent nine years working at Lehigh Elementary School and spent twenty-two years working at the Lehigh Acres Post Office. Some of Patricia’s favorite hobbies were sewing, and bird watching.Patricia leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, James T. Phelps; her children, Diane (Shane) Pledger of Alva, Florida, Barbara Phelps of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Karen Grace of Lehigh Acres, Florida; her brother, Henry L. Lesperance (Marlys) of Harrisville, NY; her grandchildren, Brian (Ashley), Michael (Jessica), Emily Pledger, Taylor (Nicholas) Bonacolta, Matthew Grace, and Jared Phelps; and her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Karter, Kash, Landon, Ty Pledger and Grace Bonacolta.Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Armand and Mabel Lesperance, her brother Amos J. Lesperance (Evelyn) of Port Lyden, New York, and her sister Ruth M.
