Beth Rigel Daugherty
I so enjoyed going to Patti with questions about anything and everything, but especially about my scholarly passion, Virginia Woolf. As I say in my book's acknowledgments, she searched the world for what I needed, and then she and Allen Reichert managed to bring most of it to Otterbein. She absolutely loved her work and people, and it showed in everything she did. I missed her when she left Otterbein, as did many, and I miss her even more deeply now. But her light touched us, and I am grateful to have known her. Her reading and searching legacy lives on. Beth Rigel Daugherty, Otterbein
P.S. I love this picture, with Patti's wonderful smile and her shirt's cardinal!
