Uncle Jack will be sadly missed but I have so many fond memories. The Davis Painting Company that was carried on by Uncle Jack. When you'd come over when you couldn't find him, we'd always go to the basement and he'd be down there working on books or making bids…..but he always took time out for you. He was always kidding around, like the time he sat the dog in the corner and told him to stay and forgot and left for hours and came back and the poor dog was still there. All the great times I had staying all night and then there was Buckeye Lake and a whole new set of memories we made there. Then Florida made a whole new set of Memories and almost lost my life there and my children when my Grandfather set the home on fire and left us all asleep inside while he tried to put out the fire…..while we were all inside dying of smoke inhalation. Uncle Jack woke us up and we narrowly escaped. Spent many of a vacation in Florida and too many memories to list. The way he was a devoted son and even the later years of his life took care of his Mother and Father. He was a devoted Father and his children knew they could count on him. He even mowed his daughters lawn and did the landscaping when she had a husband that was too busy. He painted many a home for his children and even laid tile. He was the father I always wished I had the sky was the limit for his children. Sometimes he even sacrificed too much. A Devoted Husband none can compare, as much as he did for his children and parents, he sacrificed even more for the Love of his life, it's just what he did best take care of everyone. I will miss you Uncle Jack, Love, Ronda
