My Buddy Paul. We were best friends as kids and into adulthood you weren’t happy here so you left to find salvation we reconnected in 94 and then you were off again. Always thought about you and hoped everything was good. Retouched with Carolyn in 2012 and she had said the family was doing good. My fault for not trying to reconnect with you then and now it’s too late. Didn’t find out this tragic news until 2016 when my brother died and Carolyn informed me there were no more chances to connect. Sorry I couldn’t be the for you in time of need and I just reflect on the good times we had and life experiences we shared together. I’ve had a heart attack diabetes and never thought you would go before me. Just rekindled with Kerry and most of the conversation was about the three amigos. Rest In Peace my old friend and know you are missed and thought about constantly I will go to Ft Myers to at least say goodbye. Sorry it took so long. Love ya Man.

Thank you Bonnie. I would have really liked to meet you. When I met Carolyn I could tell right away the kind of family that Paul comes from. Even though I only knew him for a few years I feel like he quickly became one of the best friends I've ever had and we are blessed to have been a part of his life. I look at this as not a chapter closing but as a new journey beginning and Paul was the person that put me on the right path. I'll cherish our memories together and bring the same passion, generosity and enjoyment to others. We plan on visiting Florida again and I would love to meet you and see Carolyn again.

Wendy, Paul has been laid to rest in the Sylvan cremation gardens at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. It is easy to find at the side entrance to the cemetery under beautiful oak trees. Would love to see you if you get over this way. My phone number is (239) 275-8839.Bonnie

Bonnie, Bill, Carolyn, Bob & Dee,Throughout the years I have often wondered who Paul had become and how you were all doing. I was sadden to come across his obituary last night and have been struggling with it ever since. Any words of comfort I attempt to write seem inadequate to express how truly sorry I am. As I read through the tributes left for him my heart breaks a little more with each word because I see that had become a wonderful man. I always wished him the best and hoped that he could find what he was looking for in life. I see now that he had. I will always cherish the time we spent together, the laughter that we shared and the tears we cried. He will be missed but his memory will live on forever in my heart. Wendy

Dee included me in the email that was sent to many of your friends and family. Although many years have passed since we were in high school together, it is with the help of social media that connections are possible. I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of your son.
