Paul Joseph Haasis' Obituary
Paul Joseph Haasis, passed away on April 12, 2012. He was born August 1, 1930, in West Rutland Vermont; son of Helen & William Haasis. Paul was raised in Boston, MA, and joined the U.S. Navy in 1948 ?Çô 1952. He served as an electricians mate 3rd class (e-4). He was assigned to the USS Menhaden submarine.He married Rose Esther Zanga on May 5 1957, in Boston MA. Paul worked for Northeast Airlines as an aircraft electrician, then merged with Delta Airlines and retired in 1989 with 32 years. He resided in Billerica, MA until retirement, and then relocated to Ft Myers FL., where he lived out his life.Survivors include wife, Rose Haasis of 55 years; sons, Paul J. (Heidi) Haasis, Steven (Cynthia) Haasis; grandchildren, Christopher, Sara, Alex and Garret Haasis.Paul was preceded in death by, brother, Fredrick Haasis; and sister, Helen Nestor.A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at a later date.
