Paul Lewis Munsell's Obituary
Paul Lewis Munsell, 99, of Fort Myers, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2020. He was born to Ovid A. Munsell and Devon B. (Martin) Munsell on August 02, 1921 in Wabash, Indiana. He married Ruth May Clem on August 14, 1947, who preceded him in death in 2017.
In 1942, Paul joined the United States Army and served his country during World War II in Guam, completing his service on February 06, 1946 as a Sergeant Engineer. In 1971, he and his wife moved to Fort Myers, Florida and was a former member of over 30 years at Villas Wesleyan Church.
Mr. Munsell is survived by two daughters; Paulette Munsell Bodem, with her husband Bob, and Priscilla Munsell Alonzo, with her husband Tony; his granddaughters, Jennifer Petterossi, Deborah Fuentes, with her husband Joe, and Lisa Martin, with husband Chase; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Angelina, Arianna, Joey, Deborah, Gabriel, Rachel, Katrina, and Alana.
A Funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 AM, with a viewing at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Villas Wesleyan Church, 8400 Beacon Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Entombment with Military Honors will follow services at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
