To all the Swank family, I send you my sincere condolences.Paul played a very significant role as a mentor in my teen years as my Boy Scout Troop Scoutmaster. It is truly a testament how important and what it meant to him since his boys were long out of scouts by the time I joined the troop.I believe he played a role in making me the man I am today, and I am blessed to have had be a part of that. I am certain there are many others who he also had a powerful influence in their lives.

Peg, Ken, Tom, & Family, I always enjoyed working with Paul in the IE Department at NDH. We had a lot of laughs over the years. There are still a few drawings floating around here that have his signature "P.T. Swank" in the "drawn by" block. I have a cartoon that he drew in 1955 called the New Departure Bearing Manufacturing Machine by Fan-o-matic Machine. It was a futuristic machine that was dated 1980, & could make 1800 to 3600 bearings/hr. It looks like a "Mouse Trap" machine. It is really cute. There are just a few of us around here that worked with Paul, and we will miss him. I always enjoyed seeing Peg in the Medical Dept., & Ken out in the Plant. We all enjoyed Ken's stories about Tom's time in the offensive line with the Buckeyes. I also remember Ken & Peg's daughter, whose name escapes me, from SHS. My sympathies to you all. Bob Reardon
Please accept my sincere sympathy of a very nice and happy man that I remember from my childhood. Mom used to take me to Fifth Street to visit ( she is about to be 95 in October). It hurts to know that our loved ones are gone from our sight, but he will always be in your heart and thoughts, still loved, still missed and very dear. Now he is truly at peace.
