Paula L. Eichenbusch's Obituary
Paula L. (Perruccio) Eichenbusch, of Fort Myers, passed away at the age of 99. She was born in Hartford, CT on March 22, 1911, the daughter of Gaetano and Rosa (Cappello) Perruccio, both deceased. She attended Wethersfield(CT) High School and studied piano, in which she attained near-concert skills. Among the piano pieces she most loved to play were the Blue Danube Waltz, Franz Liszt?ÇÖs Hungarian Rhapsody #1, Paderewski?ÇÖs Minuet, and Rachmaninov?ÇÖs Prelude. During World War II, she worked at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Company, where she first assisted in the assembly of aircraft engines and later as an administrative assistant. For this effort, she was inducted into the Wall of Fame of the Rosia and Riveter National Park in Richmond, CA. During her lifetime, Paula resided in Connecticut, California, Nevada, and lastly, Fort Myers, Florida. Both her first husband, Sebastian Rametta, and her second husband, Wesley Eichenbusch, preceded her in death. Her surviving relatives include her son, Thomas Rametta and his wife, Marion; five grandchildren and their spouses, eight great-grandchildren, two step-children and their spouses, and five step-grandchildren. Also included are her sister Helen Stella, and two nieces; Constance (James) Hannon, and Rose Lombardi; all of Whethersfield, CT Interment will take place at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, following a 10:00am service on Tuesday, Decmber 14, 2010 which will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
