Pauline F. Hollister's Obituary
Pauline F. Hollister, 98, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Waukegan, Illinois, peacefully passed away on August 24th, 2022 at Cape Coral Hospice House. Pauline married Lester Hollister in 1944 while both were serving in the United States Navy and raised 2 children, Jan and David Hollister.
Pauline was born in Versailles, Indiana on September 25, 1923 to Frank and Mary Brandt. Pauline and Lester retired in Cape Coral, Florida in 1984. She was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church. Pauline retired from the United States Postal Service after 20 years of valued service. She retired again from GH Bass shoe company in Florida after another 20 years. She was a tremendously hard worker with a wonderful disposition.
Survivors include her daughter, Jan Goth of Cape Coral, Florida; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son David in 1974, and her husband Lester in 1987.
Pauline was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many people. She is remembered and missed. May she Rest in Peace with the Lord.
