Pauline "Polly" McGaffey's Obituary
Pauline H. “Polly” McGaffey of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Heartland Health Care of Fort Myers, Florida. She was 88. She was born January 3, 1929 in Goshen, Indiana; the beautiful daughter of the late Oscar and Hazel Davidhizar.Polly worked as a mobile home inspector before her retirement and moving to Southwest Florida in 1987. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling and loved to travel. Polly was a former member and past club champion at Maple Crest Country Club in Goshen, Indiana. She was also a member of Eastwood Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 37+ years, Lloyd “Mac” McGaffey (April 21, 2009) and a grandson, Aaron Cormican. Polly is survived by her four children, Sandi Mabry (Jim), Ron Eaton, Mike Eaton (Michele) and Pam McCollum. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Davidhizar; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Immediate funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
