Pazienza Elvira "Vera" Parente's Obituary
Pazienza “Vera” Parente of Shelby Township, Michigan and formerly of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on March 19, 2017 in Michigan while under Hospice care for some recent health challenges. She was 88 years old.Mrs. Parente was born in Bellosguardo, Italy on January 31, 1929, the proud daughter to Carmela (Nicolella) Masi and Cosimo Masi. She was married to her loving husband of 65 years, Mike Parente and leaves behind her devoted sons Vince (Cheryl) Parente and Michael (Nancy) Parente. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Eric, Kelley, Meghan, Matt, Alex, Ryan, Emily, and 9 great-grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her son Anthony “Tony” Parente as well as her beloved husband Mike Parente. A Memorial Service for Vera will be celebrated by Deacon Anthony F. DiLorenzo at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 inside the Chapel of Light at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also at the cemetery chapel.
