Pearl L. Jokich's Obituary
Pearl L. Jokich?á Born September 10, 1931 in Chicago, IL; deceased June 6, 2012. Pearl is survived by her husband of 60 years Peter Jokich, her three daughters, Catherine Jokich, Dawn Kelley, Tammy flick, her three sons and eleven grandchildren. Pearl?ÇÖs life can be illustrated by her 20 years as the owner of Changes for Hair Salon and the many friends she touched therein. ?áPearl?ÇÖs greatest love was her family. She had built a close bond with her daughters and grandchildren and always wanted them all to know she was always and will always be there for them as she watches over all of us. She was a very strong person and handled well the many challenges that life presented to her. Like most of her generation, she lived her early life in the shadow of the Great Depression and that experience gave her the will and determination to overcome any obstacle as she raised a large family and started a successful business. Pearl was loved by everyone who knew her. ?á Pearl loved to come to work at the shop every day and visit with her friends and family and in this she will be sadly missed. Pearl will be laid to rest at a private ceremony as was her wish.
