Pedro Montalvo's Obituary
Pedro Montalvo, 83, of Fort Myers passed away on May 5, 2024. Pedro was born January 15, 1941, to Juan and Maria (Citron) Montalvo in Utuado, Puerto Rico.
Pedro has called Florida his home since 1970. He was married to Olga for 63 years. He was a landscaper at R.S Walsh where he retired after 33 years. He loved to garden, enjoyed raising his chickens, roosters, and riding his horse Mariposa.
He was the patriarch of his loving family. He lived by family traditions and passed on those traditions to his children and grandchildren. He was respected by many, and known as Papa.
Pedro is preceded in passing by his parents, his daughter Luz Barocio, and his granddaughter Yesenia Montalvo.
Pedro leaves his loving memory with his cherished survivors:
His wife Olga. His four daughters; Maribel, Carmen, Alba, and Iraida. His three sons; Wilfredo, Pedro Jr, and Salvador.
His 19 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Pedro family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of his final arrangements. There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 4PM-6PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
