Penelope Mary Kontinos' Obituary
Penelope Mary Kontinos, 72, of Fort Myers, died November 2, 2015 at Signature Nursing Center. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Myers. Family will visit with friends at the church one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials: Hope Hospice. Penny was born February 24, 1943 in Massachusetts, the daughter of Leo and Katherine (Adams) Psilopoulos. She married Nicholas Kontinos and their orthodox wedding date was during 1976. Penny was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed reading, writing and was an accomplished calligrapher. She enjoyed going to the beach and working with her church. Surviving are her husband, Nicholas Kontinos; niece Kate Psilopoulos Jagger and her husband David of Andover, MA and their daughters Caroline and Lillian; and nephew, Kris Psilpoulos and his wife Karen of Gardiner, NY and their daughter, Andie. Preceding in death are 3 brothers Mark, Gregory and Steven Psilopoulos. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Penny.
