Dear Meg What sad news! Like the credit card ad suggests, there are days in our life that are priceless; so were the days at YC. My education there was quite complete, but among the most memorable of those times were the conversations at the Fryin' Pan, surrounded by Peter, Jim, and Terry. Sending hugs and prayers your way for continued strength and renewal.
Dear Meg — This is a sad, sad moment to read that Pete has passed away. He was one of the more informed and articulate people we ever knew at YC. It was at Cheshire Academy that I first met Pete. I was there on a recruiting visit for Yankton College. We have known Pete a long time and have always enjoyed his friendship.He was real active in Yankton in belongong to many orginizations that were for the betterment of living in our community. Pete had a big heart and he always gave it his all to make a better life for others He was a good friend and will be missed by many. Paul

Dear dear Meg, I just found out about Peter passing away. I am so sorry. I do not think of college days without thinking about Peter and you; I don't think about teaching at YC without thinking about Peter, some of my fondest memories of Yankton in the old days are tied up with you two. My sincerest condolences. Mr. DelFavero was one of my favorite professors at Yankton College. He challenged me in looking at social issues through a different set of glasses. My most memorable class discussion was "is man born good and become evil or is he born evil and taught to be good". This thought and the ensuing discussion follows me today in the work that I do. Rest in Peace Mr. DelFavero.
