Peter J. Xamplas' Obituary
Peter J. Xamplas, 80, passed away October 4, 2011. He was born May 16, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Gust and Agnes (Mazgaj) Xamplas. He was owner of a Pepperidge Farms Bread distributor. He came to Lee County in 1990 from Chicago. He was a member of St. Columkill?áCatholic Church?áChurch and the Tattler Post American Legion. Peter loved golf, Chicago Bears, reading and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Florence; sons, Peter, Steven and Andrew Xamplas all of Chicago, Gerry (and his wife Kathy) Seiwert of Elmwood Park, IL; daughters, Laura (and her husband Leo Jr.) Worth of Blooington, IL and Linda (and her husband Charles Jr.) Holzner of Lemont, IL; grandchildren, Natalie, Jeni, Tiffany, Cathy, Jim, Lindsey, Lexi, Leo III, Connor, Olivia, Carly, Jimmy, Niko and Katie; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Julia, Jackson, Ethan, Victoria, Josh, Ian, Lili, Anabelle and Nathan and his sisters: Irene Schnurpfiel, Connie Stapleton and Anna Marie Pellus. There will be a memorial service in Chicago on November 3, 2011. Arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
