Philip R. Hanaburgh's Obituary
Philip R. Hanaburgh Sr, 64, passed away on December 2, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Paola Hanaburgh. They shared 42 years of marriage together.
Born in Danbury, CT, he was the son of Richard and Dorothy Hanaburgh. He graduated from North Salem High School in 1975. He was owner/operator of Hanaburgh Construction Inc.
He served in the Unites States Army from 1976 to 1983 and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant while a member of the 1/75th Ranger Battalion. He was a volunteer EMT at North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps from 1988 through 1996. He belonged to St Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Ft Myers, FL. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered for his humor, his unwavering work ethic, his strength, his ability to tell a great story, and his devotion to his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Paola Hanaburgh, his daughter, Jessica Tomsic and her husband Matthew Tomsic, his son Philip Hanaburgh and his wife Caitlin Hanaburgh, Grandchildren, Jacob Tomsic, Sofia Tomsic, Jaxon Hanaburgh, Mila Tomsic and Oliver Hanaburgh. He was predeceased by his father Richard Hanaburgh.
The funeral/memorial services will be held on a date yet to be determined.
