Joan Lawlor
I wish to send my personal condolences to all who could not be with my Father as of late. I especially wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to 'Uncle Jimmy', my fathers younger brother, for being the wonderful and supportive brother he was… the pride and joy my father held in his heart for Jimmy was life-long and precious, and my Dad endeared Jimmy to all of his children. May solace come quickly, Dear Uncle Jimmy ~ we are thinking of you during this time. I also wish to express my deep condolences to all of the families that my Dad grew up with on his mother's side, (the original Nann Family) and all of their spouses and children whom we grew up with and shared a close family tie for many, many years. It is difficult losing a parent for any family ~ yet somehow I feel this one was quite difficult as this man did have family values and loyalty that was tested many times over, and he always came out on top. He loved his five children, and gave them everything he could when we were growing up. Over the years, as we all moved away, he traveled great distances to bridge the gap and keep the connections. I have always admired that about my Father… He left us a stronger, wiser family for having had him as our Father and will be greatly missed as his light departs for somewhere else. May his laughter and smiles spring eternal! His Loving Daughter, Joan Thank you for your thoughts and feelings in regards to this special, unique person that five of us got to call Daddy for many many years….
