Phyllis H. Baker's Obituary
Phyllis H. Baker, 91, of Fort Myers, passed away January 6, 2013. She was born March 24, 1921 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Sherwood and Florence (Hench) Holmes. In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband George and stepson George Jr. She moved to Lee County about 30 years ago from Chicago. She was president of the Symphony Women and loved cruises and traveling. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kenneth Baker and his wife Denise of Columbus, Georgia; Karen Hough and her husband Rudy of Denton, Texas; Phillip Baker and his wife Doris of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law Audrey Baker of Sarasota, Florida; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
