Phyllis M. Duty's Obituary
Phyllis M. Duty of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Shell Point Pavilion of Fort Myers. She was 92. Mrs. Duty was born April 1, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to the late Frank E. Morrison and Claude E. (nee Grounds) Morrison. She was a member the Sanibel United Church of Christ Congregational Church and the First Christian Church of Winchester. She loved music and impacted many lives as a piano music teacher. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 71 years, William S. Duty, Jr., her children, Jean Chandler of Cambridge, MA, William L. Duty of Marietta, GA, Katherine D. Uze of Arlington, VA and James V. Duty of Richmond, VA. In addition, she leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memorial Services are pending. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is serving the family.
