Phyllis Anne Pickhover Havey, 86, died peacefully on April 11, 2019, in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL with the Graveside Funeral at 2:30 p.m.Phyllis was born on Sept. 6, 1932 in Detroit Michigan, to parents Grace Smith and Ben Pickhover.Phyllis “Sunshine” as she was known by all who loved her is survived by her son Michael Gordon Havey and his wife Billie Rogers Havey of Lakewood Ranch, FL; her granddaughters; Stephanie Havey and husband Joseph Barron of Bradenton, FL; Elizabeth Howell and husband David Gonzalez of Bradenton, FL; Rebecca Walsh and husband Jonathan Walsh and two great-grandchildren of Candor, NY.She is also survived by two sisters: Barbara Byrne and her husband Maurice Byrne of Rochester, MI and Sally Youngs and her husband Robert Youngs of Brandon, MS.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Benjamin Pickhover and Roger A. Johnson, her companion for the past 30 years.A long-time resident of Ft. Myers, she loved the nautical life and was a Lifetime Member of the Ft. Myers Beach Yacht Club and Past Commodore of the Club 1991-92. She also loved to crochet, cook and entertain and was the Editor of the Ft.
